Travel Photography

To herald is to document and treasure the story as it unfolds. To travel is to be part of the story as it is being told.

It sounds twisted, but, that is intended to be rightly so! Read it a few times to understand. But, photography and traveling are actually quite similar in the aspect that they both require the similar act of completely dis-positioning the body from its’ normal daily routine. In other words, in order for a photographer to create a stunning photograph, he or she will often be required to travel miles away from their home.

The destination can be the peak of a mountain or deep in the ocean, photographers have to be willing to travel the distance and make their time useful to humanity through captivating images and fascinating stories to tell about this wonderful universe.

Creative photography

The intrinsic artistic value of certain photography techniques and methods never seize to amaze me each day. There’s an endless amount of compositions to create in so many different forms and subject matters. “Uma Luz” is a project created to enable me to explore the outside boundaries of what a “good” photograph is supposed to be. This is where I get to play with layers on Photoshop and dragging the shutter speed to create impressionist images of what I’m seeing through the camera. It’s a project for the sake of art and for artists! The copyrights of the images created are for sale for Graphic Designers, Musicians, and Interior Designers looking for unique creative work to collaborate on their own project.
